seattle engagement photographer | wine tasting engagement in woodinville

Mike and Kaitie have been friends of ours for quite some time. Kaitie was on the UW cheer team when David cheered and when I was a twirler. I can hardly count the number of amazing friends we made during that time! Mike and Kaitie won their photo session at the auction that was raising money for the UW cheer team to go to Nationals. While we will be attending their wedding as guests and not as photographers, I was thrilled to photograph their engagement session. We set out for the romantic setting of Woodinville the day after Christmas. I just love the feeling of it out there. Matthews Winery even opened their doors for us and let us do some shooting in their tasting room. We finished up the session with a little tasting of some of their delicious wines. It was a win-win for all. Congrats to this beautiful couple - we can't wait to take part in your wedding festivities!

seattle senior photographer | ethan

I had so much fun taking Ethan's senior photos. Ethan's mom invited me up to their equestrian property in Monroe for the session. The mountains and forests behind made a wonderful backdrop. We even got to take some shots with Ethan's horse, Herbie! Personalizing your session with your favorite sports and hobbies really makes your photos stand a part from the rest. Let's get creative!

seattle wedding photographer | mountain top wedding at crystal mountain

Oh, Brian and Colleen. So many happy thoughts come to mind when I think of the day that these two were married. First of all, they got married at Crystal Mountain, which happens to be our wedding venue (only seven more months!!) and the place that we snowboard here in Washington. Brian and Colleen are just two wonderful, laid-back people, similar to David and I. We felt like we really connected with these two from the get go. Their wedding was absolutely wonderful. A total blast, a coming-together of family and friends from across the nation. The ceremony took place at the summit  of the resort which was accessible via the Crystal Mountain gondola. I'm sure a lot of their guests thought that was quite the adventure! In typical Northwest fashion, what was once a beautiful sunny day turned into the entire ceremony being engulfed by a 40-degree cloud. It was quite the surprise, but it went off without a hitch and we had a wonderful time wandering around taking photos on the summit. Once down from the summit, drinks and dancing took place in the beautiful lodge at the base of the mountain on the Chinook level. Speeches brought tears, dancing brought laughter, and a surprise performance by a couple of uncles really entertained the crowd. The dancing went late into the night and an after-party commenced at the hotel across the way.

Thanks to following vendors for making this day that much more special:

Venue & Catering: Crystal Mountain
DJ: Seth Cornell
Flowers: Pa Cha Farm from Pike Place Market
