I don't know about you but fall is just around the corner and I can't wait! Cooler temps, colorful trees, and earlier sunsets make for some great shooting environments. I wanted to share a few frames from Alex's session a few weeks ago. It was probably one of the prettier days I've experienced this summer. Alex enjoys playing basketball, fishing, and hanging out with friends. I hope all of you seniors have a wonderful first week of senior year! Please note that we are no longer accepting September sessions. If you are interested in booking with us, we have availability starting early October and throughout the rest of fall. Email amy@amygalbraith.com if you're interested in booking a fall session! Have a great weekend :)

seattle senior portraits | kendy
Meet Kendy! She is one of our Senior Ambassadors for Inglemoor High School. Kendy wanted to take her senior pictures in downtown Seattle. Pike Place Market provided an amazing backdrop for it all. Kendy enjoys learning about fashion and is also in DECA, even making her way to the national level! We wish Kendy the best of luck with her upcoming senior year. Still looking for a senior photographer? Book quickly as we have limited availability for the month of September (we're getting married)! Email amy@amygalbraith.com for info and availability.

seattle senior photographer | sophie
I had the pleasure of photographing Sophie's senior photos at the beginning of summer. Sophie is going to be a senior at Shorecrest High School this fall and is one of our senior ambassadors. She is involved in ASB, cross country, and volunteers as a Seattle Police Explorer. Her dream is to be a police officer someday. Here are a few favorites from Sophie's session at Logboom Park in Kenmore. Wishing her all the best for her senior year!

seattle senior photographer | kiliai
I'm heading out to Portland to shoot a wedding this weekend but couldn't help but want to share this senior session with Kiliai before I left! Kiliai is one of our senior ambassadors of the Class of 2016. I actually did photos of his sister last year so I was excited when he reached out to me. Their family is wonderful! A soccer player and a wrestler, this smart young man wants to attend University of Washington or UCLA after he graduates. I had a great time working with him for his senior portraits and I wish him all the best for his senior year!

seattle senior photographer | kaitlynn
I had worked with a few of Kaitlynn's friends earlier in the summer so I knew that I would probably love photographing her. She has an incredibly sweet, humble personality. Her dad came along to the shoot which made for a lot of fun. I could tell that it was a very emotional experience for him watching his beautiful daughter get her senior photos taken. I love how Kaitlynn's natural smile shines through in so many of these images. Wishing her all the best as she finishes her senior year!

photo field trip in el capital canyon
Field Trip? Heck yes. The idea behind Photo Field Trip is pretty rad, like when you're in elementary school - go on a field trip, have fun, and also learn something. David and I spent last weekend camping in El Capitan Canyon, California getting inspired, learning, taking photos, and adventuring. It's kind of really hard to pinpoint what was so awesome about this trip. We learned some amazing tips from some of the top photographers in the industry, captured creative magic by lighting off smoke bombs and throwing colored powder in the air, roamed fields dripping with late afternoon California beauty, danced side by side in a dusty tent with our new awesome friends, and returned home with a vision of what we really want to accomplish through photography this year. Seriously if you're a photographer needing a pick-me-up in your business or just want to meet some amazing people, go. You will come away feeling so full. Oh yah, we also took some photos while we were there.
