With fall here in full force and the weather quickly changing, I'm excited to get back into blogging mode and share some more of the sessions we did this summer. Kristen is a senior in the class of 2016 and was a total sweetheart. She enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and camping. Her session was on one of the many gorgeous days I had shooting at Discovery Park late this summer. We do still have a couple of spots left for November sessions so claim one while those leaves are still golden. Wishing Kristen the best of luck for her senior year! Meet Kendy! She is one of our Senior Ambassadors for Inglemoor High School. Kendy wanted to take her senior pictures in downtown Seattle. Pike Place Market provided an amazing backdrop for it all. Kendy enjoys learning about fashion and is also in DECA, even making her way to the national level! We wish Kendy the best of luck with her upcoming senior year. I had such a wonderful time working with Elyse, a senior in the Class of 2016 at Skyline High School. We took her senior portraits at Discovery Park, taking advantage of the beautiful views and tall summer grass. This spunky, sweet, intelligent young lady carries herself so well. I'm heading out to Portland to shoot a wedding this weekend but couldn't help but want to share this senior session with Kiliai before I left! Kiliai is one of our senior ambassadors of the Class of 2016. I actually did photos of his sister last year so I was excited when he reached out to me. Their family is wonderful! A soccer player and a wrestler, this smart young man wants to attend University of Washington or UCLA after he graduates. I had a great time working with him for his senior portraits and I wish him all the best for his senior year!

Whew! I've definitely been in slack mode when it comes to blogging. Perhaps it's because we have been so busy with shoots, birthdays, holidays and wedding planning. It's been pretty hectic but having the job that I do makes it so worth it! Spring has been gorgeous in Seattle this year. While we have had the occasional day of 50-degree drizzle, most of our afternoons have been filled with warmer weather and golden sunlight. I've been scheduling most of my sessions later this year and it's definitely paid off. For example, Taylor. Taylor is graduating in a few short weeks and is excited to be attending the Montana State University this fall. Her mom had purchased her senior session through an auction that I donated to in the fall. I love being able to use my photography skills to help out charities, schools, and other philanthropic needs. Taylor is such an easy going, happy young woman and I was thrilled to have the opportunity to meet her. We wish Taylor the best of luck with the rest of her senior year and future endeavors!

I'm excited to share this fun session with you I had with Lorna this summer for her senior portraits. She's been a cheerleader since the age of five and cheers for both her high school and an all-star team. After she graduates she hopes to pursue fashion at FIDM in California. Wishing Lorna the best for her senior year!
