discovery park senior photos | andrea

It's that time of year again! We are now accepting applications for our Senior Ambassador program. What is a Senior Ambassador, you ask? Every year we choose 8-10 fantastic students to represent our business. In return, they get a free 1.5 hour session within 30 miles of Seattle, a print collection valued at $380 after three of their friends book a session with us, 20% off all additional products, a complimentary yearbook photo, and 5 custom images for sharing on social media. All applicants must be a senior in the class of 2017 and have their application completed by April 8. We will make an announcement shortly thereafter. For more information and the link to the application, visit our website.

And on that note, I'm excited to share a beautiful example of one of our Seattle sessions from last summer. Sun-drenched fields of grass, a flowing, skirt, and soft, cool trails. Andrea's session was stunning last year and we wish her all the best as she graduates this spring.

I had a wonderful time taking Kira's senior photos this fall in the Arboretum. Kira is the pitcher on her school's Varsity fast-pitch team. She loves spending time with her pup and playing guitar. Wishing Kira a fantastic senior year!

With fall here in full force and the weather quickly changing, I'm excited to get back into blogging mode and share some more of the sessions we did this summer. Kristen is a senior in the class of 2016 and was a total sweetheart. She enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and camping. Her session was on one of the many gorgeous days I had shooting at Discovery Park late this summer. We do still have a couple of spots left for November sessions so claim one while those leaves are still golden. Wishing Kristen the best of luck for her senior year! Here are just a few of my favorites from the session.

I don't know about you but fall is just around the corner and I can't wait! Cooler temps, colorful trees, and earlier sunsets make for some great shooting environments. I wanted to share a few frames from Alex's session a few weeks ago. It was probably one of the prettier days I've experienced this summer. Alex enjoys playing basketball, fishing, and hanging out with friends. I hope all of you seniors have a wonderful first week of senior year! Please note that we are no longer accepting September sessions. If you are interested in booking with us, we have availability starting early October and throughout the rest of fall. Email amy@amygalbraith.com if you're interested in booking a fall session! Have a great weekend :)

I had the pleasure of photographing Sophie's senior photos at the beginning of summer. Sophie is going to be a senior at Shorecrest High School this fall and is one of our senior ambassadors. She is involved in ASB, cross country, and volunteers as a Seattle Police Explorer. Her dream is to be a police officer someday. Here are a few favorites from Sophie's session at Logboom Park in Kenmore. Wishing her all the best for her senior year!

I had such a wonderful time working with Elyse, a senior in the Class of 2016 at Skyline High School. We took her senior portraits at Discovery Park, taking advantage of the beautiful views and tall summer grass. This spunky, sweet, intelligent young lady carries herself so well. She even plays the viola in the Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra! For more info on our senior portraits and to take advantage of our summer discounts email amy@amygalbraith.com.
