It's that time of year again! We are now accepting applications for our Senior Ambassador program. What is a Senior Ambassador, you ask? Every year we choose 8-10 fantastic students to represent our business. In return, they get a free 1.5 hour session within 30 miles of Seattle, a print collection valued at $380 after three of their friends book a session with us, 20% off all additional products, a complimentary yearbook photo, and 5 custom images for sharing on social media. All applicants must be a senior in the class of 2017 and have their application completed by April 8. We will make an announcement shortly thereafter. For more information and the link to the application, visit our website.

And on that note, I'm excited to share a beautiful example of one of our Seattle sessions from last summer. Sun-drenched fields of grass, a flowing, skirt, and soft, cool trails. Andrea's session was stunning last year and we wish her all the best as she graduates this spring.

seattle senior photographer | sophie

I had the pleasure of photographing Sophie's senior photos at the beginning of summer. Sophie is going to be a senior at Shorecrest High School this fall and is one of our senior ambassadors. She is involved in ASB, cross country, and volunteers as a Seattle Police Explorer. Her dream is to be a police officer someday. Here are a few favorites from Sophie's session at Logboom Park in Kenmore. Wishing her all the best for her senior year!

seattle senior photographer | taylor

Whew! I've definitely been in slack mode when it comes to blogging. Perhaps it's because we have been so busy with shoots, birthdays, holidays and wedding planning. It's been pretty hectic but having the job that I do makes it so worth it! Spring has been gorgeous in Seattle this year. While we have had the occasional day of 50-degree drizzle, most of our afternoons have been filled with warmer weather and golden sunlight. I've been scheduling most of my sessions later this year and it's definitely paid off. For example, Taylor. Taylor is graduating in a few short weeks and is excited to be attending the Montana State University this fall. Her mom had purchased her senior session through an auction that I donated to in the fall. I love being able to use my photography skills to help out charities, schools, and other philanthropic needs. Taylor is such an easy going, happy young woman and I was thrilled to have the opportunity to meet her. We wish Taylor the best of luck with the rest of her senior year and future endeavors!

seattle senior photographer | kaitlynn

I had worked with a few of Kaitlynn's friends earlier in the summer so I knew that I would probably love photographing her. She has an incredibly sweet, humble personality. Her dad came along to the shoot which made for a lot of fun. I could tell that it was a very emotional experience for him watching his beautiful daughter get her senior photos taken. I love how Kaitlynn's natural smile shines through in so many of these images. Wishing her all the best as she finishes her senior year!

I had so much fun taking Ethan's senior photos. Ethan's mom invited me up to their equestrian property in Monroe for the session. The mountains and forests behind made a wonderful backdrop. We even got to take some shots with Ethan's horse, Herbie! Personalizing your session with your favorite sports and hobbies really makes your photos stand a part from the rest. Let's get creative!

seattle senior photographer | madi

Madi is a senior this year hoping to study at University of Washington or Western Washington University. She is a lacrosse player for her high school and one of the sweetest girls I've met. Her and her mom were such troopers battling the fall weather for her session! Good luck to Madi in her senior year!
