With fall here in full force and the weather quickly changing, I'm excited to get back into blogging mode and share some more of the sessions we did this summer. Kristen is a senior in the class of 2016 and was a total sweetheart. She enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and camping. Her session was on one of the many gorgeous days I had shooting at Discovery Park late this summer. We do still have a couple of spots left for November sessions so claim one while those leaves are still golden. Wishing Kristen the best of luck for her senior year! When Braden first inquired with me about photographing his proposal to his lovely lady Sharelle, I could hardly contain my excitement. I absolutely love photographing proposals. It's no surprise that after spending their college years together as a part of the University of Washington's Husky Marching Band that Braden wanted to propose to Sharelle in Husky Stadium. So, with a little help from friends, we made it happen. I can't say enough about how much fun it was to watch the proposal, and also to just get to know this super sweet couple throughout the whole process. Congratulations to these two, I hope you have the most wonderful engagement!

This couple. Creative, talented, smart -- they just go together. When I first met them, I knew that I really wanted to be a part of their wedding festivities. Not just because Stephen is a talented designer and Elisabeth is creative and her wedding ideas are so incredibly unique, and also not because the wedding is in Leavenworth (albeit a huge plus), but because of the way they are together. You can just tell that they get along so well and there is a genuine affection for each other. Seeing them pull out their laptops and passionately talk about their wedding plans and ideas was just so wonderful and made me feel like I was right along there with them making the big plans. Elisabeth told me she wanted to have their engagement photos taken with the cherry blossoms. So on a quiet day in March, we took a stroll through the beautiful Washington Arboretum and I got to capture their love.
