You may remember this amazing couple from last summer when I photographed them on Vashon Island. They met while working as counselors at a summer camp for kids with terminal illnesses. Do these two have amazing hearts? I'd say so. All of that came through when we had the chance to photograph their beautiful mountain wedding in Leavenworth. The day began with Matt seeing Brittany for the first time on the banks of Icicle Creek. From there they headed to Icicle Brewing Company in Leavenworth where they clinked glasses with their closest friends before saying "I do" at Mountain Springs Lodge. Matt and Brittany put a lot of care into the details of their wedding to make it their own. They played off of the Bavarian theme of Leavenworth and instead of having traditional wedding fare, they served pretzels and bratwurst. The perfect summer weather allowed for the entire event to be outside where friends and family gathered under the stars for drinking, dancing, and a little lightsaber play time inspired by Matt's love of Star Wars.
