A while ago I posted about how I would love to do a photo session at Deception Pass State Park someday and low and behold, Abby emailed me shortly after saying that her and her fiancé Aaron got engaged there and would love to do their portrait session up there. Aaron and his family used to visit the park years ago and it is a special place to him. With both of them being outdoor enthusiasts, it was no surprise that they got engaged in front of this beautiful backdrop. I hiked up to Goose Rock with these to on a perfect Northwest evening. It was a total dream and an incredible experience with a wonderful couple. I'm looking forward to photographing their wedding next March! Enjoy these dreamy images.

I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving. I know I did! So much delicious food, wonderful family time and relaxation. I just can't believe it's already December! To start of the month, I have some beautiful engagement photos to share with you. This sweet couple, getting married next fall in Woodinville, chose to have their engagement session at Seward Park. They used to take walks there together when they first started dating and I can see why. With the lovely forest trails, waterfront beaches and Seattle skyline views, it truly has a full sampling of everything that city-living in the Northwest has to offer. We headed out in November for the last leaves of fall. I love how these turned out and I'm so glad to be a part of this couple's wedding festivities. Congrats you two!

I spent this evening wandering the beautiful Lake Washington waterfront with my new clients David and Valerie at Seward Park. I love how this one turned out! More to come :)

Anne & Steve's Engagement Session

Steve proposed to Anne at the top of the gondola at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in a foot of fresh snow. I can't think of a more perfect proposal for a couple like this. I've known Anne since college and I was thrilled when I found out she was marrying long time local Steve Jones. They are getting married next week in Bozeman, Montana and I am so excited to be a part of their wedding. Not only that, I was honored to have the opportunity to take some engagement photos for them. We live just around the corner from each other and I knew that our backyard in the Aspens would be the perfect location in the fall. They showed up looking incredibly adorable with a bottle of champagne in hand. I couldn't resist getting the "family portrait" with their dog, Ripley, too. I hope you enjoy looking at these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them. Congratulations Anne & Steve!
