seattle engagement | a lovely day at discovery park

I knew I wanted to work with Kelsey and Luca from the moment I met with them about their wedding. Luca, from Italy, and Kelsey, from Wyoming (what? who actually has "lived in Wyoming" in common?) are getting married at the Kiana Lodge this July. We got to spend some quality hang out time together for their engagement session sauntering through the beautiful Discovery Park on a lovely day this fall chatting about their families and their wedding. I also got to meet their adorable pup, Champ. With all the warm weather we are having in Seattle these days, I hope everyone is out soaking up that Vitamin D. Enjoy the images!

Madi is a senior this year hoping to study at University of Washington or Western Washington University. She is a lacrosse player for her high school and one of the sweetest girls I've met. This summer we spent some time up on the beautiful little point that overlooks Canada that is Semiahmoo Resort. This beautiful beach backdrop set the tone perfectly for Drew & Lieu's wedding. Pretty pink pastels, a stunning lace wedding gown, tall beach grass, and a beautiful sunset made for a lovely day for these two.
