I can't say enough about how awesome this session was. A super fun couple, a gorgeous Seattle day, and a "tour" of our beautiful city made for the ultimate engagement session. We started out on the beach, moved into a lovely haven of the last of the famous cherry blossoms, and finished at the iconic Gasworks Park. Brittney had every detail planned out from her summer sandals and Dave's boat shoes on the beach to their very fancy red dress and suit combination with the city as a backdrop. Oh, and it was Brittney's birthday. Getting dressed up and taking photos around her favorite city, then a night out on the town with her man? What a way to celebrate! I had the best time working with these two and can't wait to photograph their wedding at Lord Hill Farms this fall, which is sure to impress. Enjoy the photos!

seattle headshot photographer | meet zach.
Does your business have a social media presence? A website? Are you on LinkedIn? Of course! Social media and the web is a vital part of the workplace. When was the last time you updated your profile photo? It's probably been a while, right? Now is the time! I haven't advertised it much yet but I have been photographing professionals since I came back to Seattle to help them update their head shots. We offer an affordable rate and the option for a digital download so you can post your favorite shot on your company's page, your LinkedIn profile, Facebook, and other social media platforms. Our system is even portable so if you don't have time to leave the office, I can come to you! Zach came to me a few days ago and not only did we get a classic professional headshot for him, but we also captured some great lifestyles photo of him and his adorable pup Wallie for his personal profiles like Facebook. Please email amy@amygalbraith.com for rates and availability!

granite falls engagement | scott & courtney.
A great advantage to having outdoorsy clients is getting to see amazing places all over the state. I remember my initial meeting with Scott & Courtney - we talked about our favorite hikes and how Scott had climbed a snowy peak on New Year's Eve day. I knew we would be a good fit from the start. Scott chose the location for their engagement session and let's just say, it was a dream. We scrambled over rocks and spent some real quality time by the river with their two pups. While everyone else spent their Sunday in the busy city amongst crowds and blooming cherry blossoms, we were enjoying some beautiful scenery, solitude, and fresh mountain air. I can't wait to photograph their wedding at Salish Lodge this summer!

seattle engagement photographer | stephen & elisabeth.
This couple. Creative, talented, smart -- they just go together. When I first met them, I knew that I really wanted to be a part of their wedding festivities. Not just because Stephen is a talented designer and Elisabeth is creative and her wedding ideas are so incredibly unique, and also not because the wedding is in Leavenworth (albeit a huge plus), but because of the way they are together. You can just tell that they get along so well and there is a genuine affection for each other. Seeing them pull out their laptops and passionately talk about their wedding plans and ideas was just so wonderful and made me feel like I was right along there with them making the big plans. Elisabeth told me she wanted to have their engagement photos taken with the cherry blossoms. So on a quiet day in March, we took a stroll through the beautiful Washington Arboretum and I got to capture their love.
