Any time a couple suggests doing something out of the ordinary or adventurous for an engagement session, you can count me in! Remember this one? So when Alaina mentioned to me that they might want to do a little hiking outside the city limits there was no way I could turn her down. On a sunny summer Sunday, we made our way up the trail all the way to Rattlesnake Ledge. This place is stunning. The views alone make for some amazing photos, add in a little bit of romance, and you have an engagement session to remember. I hope you enjoy these photos of our adventure and that it inspires other couples to think outside of the box for their engagement photos.

Weather can be unpredictable for Washington winters but it was kind enough to let up for about an hour so we could sneak in this woodsy engagement session in North Bend. Jon and Cassie love to hike so taking their engagement photos in the forest next to a lake seemed like the perfect place. Despite the crazy wind and slight rain, these two were troopers. Really, how can you resist those beautiful moss-covered evergreens? Their session is a true representation of the beauty of the Pacific Northwest and why they love to call this state home.
